No amnesty for covid crimes

Post by Pooky »

As the US midterms elections are coming we see attempt to call for amnesty of all covid crimes committed during last two years.

Should we let that happen? I think not.

An amnesty implies that they are sorry and admit it. It also means to me, that the crime has been finished and is in the past. Neither is the case, so an amnesty is not even appropriate.

As CJ Hopkins says in this article "Everything is back to normal, right? Wrong. Everything is not back to normal. Everything is absolutely New Normal. What is over is the “shock-and-awe” phase, which was never meant to go on forever. It was always only meant to get us here".
