Once upon a time, there was a woman living in Herts..

December 20th 2019. A knock at the door. The removals man had come from London to help me move from the small market town where I'd been for 2 years. He was friendly and quick but had the most awful sounding dry cough. My husband and I both rolled our eyes at the sound as he moved about the house.

I spent that Christmas with 2 families, (Including elderly relatives) and saw friends. It was hectic and tiring, as usual for us.

Come the New Year we started a new stage in our lives as we both left work and started house/dog sitting. Our very first house sit was Jan 2nd 2020 and I felt very lethargic.

The couple were kind enough to give me a hot chicken dinner on arrival but I didn't feel hungry and could barely taste or smell the food.

It was odd for me to feel this way as I am a runner and rather a large eater! I couldn't wait for them to go, I felt so tired.

The next 10 days while they were away I felt off. Fatigue, very sore throat, conjunctivitis, head ache, tummy ache, temperature. Then a rash on my hands and toes which led to excrutiating chill blains which kept me awake at night.

I couldn't not carry on house sitting so walked their dogs 3 times a day and did my daily run. But I felt tired so was slower than usual.

I was in the middle of nowhere but tried to get medical help. No Dr ever returned my calls. Apparently, most were off sick. NHS 111 told me to go to A&E in the next county which I didn't do as it seemed an over reaction plus I didn't have time to leave the dogs alone.

I had brought a first aid kit with me so took it all! A couple of paracetamol, ibuprofen, 5 days of antibiotics from a dental visit and TCP which I diluted and gargled with. The same with salty water which I used to gargle and sniff up my nose to kill the germs attacking me.

I got better after 10 days and never mentioned anything to the owners when they got back.

I look back and realise I had caught Covid 19 and it was different to anything I'd had before as it seemed a circulatory problem. Unlike when I'd had flu, I was not bed bound. I take Vits D, C ,B and Zinc and continued with this.

Interestingly, my husband did not catch it when I had symptoms. Nobody caught it off me before I had symptoms.

We had to abandon our dog/house sitting in late March becuase of the lockdowns. The people who we were sitting for at the time, came back from India early. Not because of Covid but because of the lockdowns.

They travelled back from India via Heathrow, the London underground and a local friend picked them up in his car. None of them were ill before or after.

From my story, I know Covid 19 was here way before March and that the country functioned as normal. Many people do not have symptoms because of prior immunity.

We have been led astray as the virus exists/existed (in some form) but is not as deadly as pretended by Govt. It's being used for political and commercial gain. Wearing masks is a symbol of compliance.
